Treaty Termination Ends Certain Visa Eligibility for Iranian Nationals

USCIS has announced that Iranian nationals are no longer eligible for E-1 and E-2 visa changes or extensions of status. USCIS will deny pending applications filed after October 3, 2018. Iranians currently in E-1 or E-2 status may remain in the U.S. until their current status expires.

December Visa Bulletin

The December Visa Bulletin shows modest progression in several priority date cutoffs for employment based categories. U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services will continue to follow the State Department’s Dates for Filing chart to determine who is eligible to file for adjustment of status.

Designation of Poland into the Visa Waiver Program

Starting November 11, 2019, citizens and nationals of Poland will be able to apply to travel to the United States for tourism or business purposes for up to 90 days without obtaining a U.S. visa.
